Announcement: Fruity King enter sponsorship deal with MMA star Tim Barnett

Fruity King is proud to announce our association with rising Mixed Martial Arts talent Tim Barnett.

Barnett made his MMA debut in February 2016 against Tyler Thomas and the Englishman has since enjoyed a meteoric rise in his career, with many now touting the 27-year-old to soon become a household name.

After beating Thomas in his first professional fight, Barnett has quickly gone on to establish himself as one of the most promising talents in MMA and just over a year after his debut, the Liverpudlian left an indelible mark in the sport by claiming the Bamma Lonsdale Lightweight title with an upset victory over Rhys “Skeletor” McKee.

The Northern Irishman, McKee, was strongly favoured to win the clash in front of his fans at Belfast but Barnett managed to silence the home crowd by claiming a first round triumph in devastating fashion.

Barnett has since successfully defended his title with another dominating knock out win over Mario “Rude Boy” Saeed earlier this year and the imposing new star of MMA currently boasts an impressive record of 5-0-0.

He is currently signed to Europe’s leading MMA promotion BAMMA and his next fight will be on November 10th in Dublin Ireland against the up and coming Richie Smullen, who will surely prove to be a tough challenger for Barnett.

Nevertheless, Barnett is a fighter that rises to the occasion when the stakes are high and he can surely further enhance his ever growing reputation by defending the BAMMA Lonsdale Lightweight title with victory over Smullen in Dublin.

It goes without saying that Barnett has a huge future ahead of him and he is certain to achieve big things in MMA during the foreseeable future.
